Suicide is a very complicated issue that people don’t like to talk about. As healthy physical and mental people its hard to understand why anyone would want to kill themselves but when you are looking at the end of your life anyway is it right to blame someone for wanting to die in their own way?
To be Just you have to fight for what is morally right. Can a war therefore be Just?
Sorry that it didn’t come out on Monday but we’ve been just totally behind on everything the last two weeks so here is our weekly question just a few days late.
There is a train of thought that people who live unhealthy lifestyles should be punished for doing such, but is it really right to let the government punish them?
One of the definitions of life is ‘the existence of an individual human being or animal’. Based purely upon that notion, surely if we were to live in a computer simulated world we would still be living because we are still existing?
Now personally, as an animal lover I would love to side with the animals and say that they can reason. But there are just too many YouTube videos of animals doing stupid things repeatedly for me to say so. Meaning i fall into the category of people who think animals can’t reason.
I’m expecting this subject matter will probably split a lot of people because of varying opinions on the matter.
We’ve all seen the memes, heard everyone complain about millennial’s being obsessed with gadgets and becoming more detached to the world around them and we all know Jeremy Kyle’s big problem with gadgets, social media and what they do to relationships etc…
Does the rise in usage of gadgetry really mean we’re losing our emotions?
