After two days of shows Pride finally set up camp in Plymouth for their big Heroes & Legends 5 show. So many of the names advertised for the show didn’t make it for various reasons but they managed to pull one of the best nights of wrestling out of the bag anyway.

Pride Promotions : Live in Taunton!
I think I said in the UPW review that Taunton tends to be rather special. I met RVD, Scott Hall and Cody Rhodes there and now we are going to a new venue at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre to see Simon Grimm, formerly Simon Gotch of WWE’s Vaudevillains and as most of you know the only reason I watched and reviewed NXT back in the day and one of my absolute favourite wrestlers currently in the world.
Also in case you didn’t see the post about Photobucket there will no longer be photos in the reviews as you have to pay for third party hosting. I have instead uploaded a ton more photos into individual match albums on our Facebook page and will slowly upload all past events onto Facebook too so please like the Facebook page not only for updates but for all my millions and millions of photos.
Pride Promotions : Plymouth
So in their third event in two weeks Pride returned to my hometown of Plymouth with their heavyweight champion Bram and James Storm ready to face each other for the title.
Another great evening for all involved was about to be had.
Pride Promotions : Pride & Glory 4
We had a night in Falmouth the night before which was much fun but it was the big anniversary show in Exeter that I was truly looking forward to. With Impact superstars Bram, Rockstar Spud and Low-Ki all making appearances and all the top names for Pride appearing we were certainly in for a treat!
Pride Promotions : Falmouth
I wasn’t planning on going to this event but as it was a Saturday and you can get back to Plymouth from Falmouth on a Saturday we did venture down to see the show. A much smaller show for Pro Wrestling Pride but which boasted a re-match for the Pride title when Bram returned to take on Ultimo Tiger.
Pride Promotions : Ultimate Prizefighters
Finally I managed to drag my backside to a Pride show this year and it just so happened to be a belter of a show.
Best of… Pro Wrestling Pride 2016
Probably the wrestling show I go on about the most, I go see them at every opportunity though for a little while at the beginning of the year those opportunities might be slimmer then they have been recently. A great promotion ran by some very decent people who have big plans for 2017 and have already given fans over the Christmas period new merchandise and a OnDemand service.

Best of…. British Wrestlers 2016
So its been a busy year with me and my mum going to see helluva load of PWA and Pro Wrestling Pride shows as well as the odd LEP and CPW show too (and half a Chaos show…)
Out of everyone we’ve seen this year who has made the biggest impact?
Pride Promotions : Heroes & Legends 4
Our final outing to Pro Wrestling Pride in 2016, sad times especially as their next event is free its just impossible to get to, and it was one hell of a way to finish the year. It also had the re-match everyone wanted to see…. Or just me and Nass really wanted to see… Bram vs Tiger 2. This time for the Heavyweight belt.
EDIT : This took a long time as I’ve been working and a bit ill, if there are any random bits that make no sense I apologise I just got tired of re-drafting because I’m extremely ill.
Pride Promotions : Undisputed 2
I know this ended up being really late but I did go to the last Pride show in Taunton with the absolute legend that is Scott Hall. Whilst the review is completely irrelevant right now it was a wonderful show so I’m still going to share the review no matter how late it is.
