PWA ended 2016 with a bang and absolutely everyone wants to see them carry on with the positive vibes going into the new year. Its been way too long since we have been to a PWA show so we were extremely excited to be back at the Plymouth School of Creative Arts in Milbay Road for their first event of 2017.
So thanks to Hurricane Matthew the show was altered at the last moment and we didn’t get to meet the Boogeyman, as sad as that might sound Pride once more turned it to their own advantage and delivered a great evening of entertainment.
So I said I wasn’t going to another PWA show but then had a free ticket so went, I also said I wouldn’t review it but it was such a good night I’ve completely changed my mind on that too.
PWA’s Anniversary show was something else. Was it nine matches in one night? Championships changing hands, The Winner NOT Winning and Eddie Ryan being screwed out of the TNA Heavyweight Championship.
One hell of a anniversary show.
With a re-match on the cards and new faces to PWA it couldn’t really be named better.
PWA’s April show as always is their Anniversary show and they had a stacked card with all their championships on the line plus the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
So you already know its going to be a good one.
Its really all change now with PWA. Last show before their 7th Anniversary show, Danny is no longer in the company (big bummer) and on the 17th April Drew Galloway will be in Plymouth to wrestle for the TNA championship against whoever wins the main event tonight.
A tournament to find out the two men going on to battle it for the PWA Championship and a tag team match to see the number one contenders for the tag team belts. It really is all go in the new venue for PWA.
It actually feels like a very long time since I went to see any live wrestling. It was only the beginning of December but it feels a long time ago. I mean I have slept since then. So it was nice to be back at Stonehouse, for the last time as the venue is changing, to watch PWA in their first show since November.

After the fun of last month it was never in doubt that we were going to be coming to see PWA’s November show. This time out I put on my brand new New Day t-shirt, got enough money out of my bank to buy myself a Lionhearts t-shirt (which I changed into during the interval… A little bit because I had a minor nosebleed and got a little bit of blood over my New Day one) and went to see my favourite wrestlers in the world.
