Last week was absolutely amazing so this week we have a championship match to look forward too. This is EXTREMELY exciting times!
DEFIANT Wrestling is officially being controlled by IPW now. This week kind of feels a bit odd though because we got the announcements for the matches like usual at the end of the episode last week so it doesn’t really feel like this week WILL be under IPW control which… Seeing its only till the PPV in like 3 weeks time is kind of weird.
Oh well we get Bailey vs ZSJ. What more could you ask for?
(Other then Liam Slater vs Damien Dunne. Now that I might beg for.)
We have the DEFIANT Wrestling vs IPW story in full swing, we have a crazy preacher converting people to his side and we have Alex Gracie monologue-ing at himself on a nearly weekly basis. DEFIANT Wrestling has very much made their show a much watch every single week.
So week one saw the whole landscape change at the top of the Defiant food chain. We have a new champion who isn’t even signed to the company. New faces have come to rescue some old faces and hopefully Prince Ameen has been taken away never to be seen again.
Another great week last week. Its nice to see a lot of stories up and down the roster beginning or being furthered. Can’t WAIT for Kidd vs ZSJ. Promises to be yet another brilliant night.
PLUS because I got asked on Twitter by someone, yes I will still be reviewing WCPW… Like just because the WhatCulture guys I liked left doesn’t mean I’m not going to watch WCPW or support the guys who are still there. WCPW is a great promotion to watch and like I once had a shitty boss and walked out of a job into a better one, it never made the other people shitty. So like just chill.
Last week we saw El Ligero and Joe Hendry both “punished” for their attack on Kushida and then Will Ospreay and Bea Priestley at the Pro Wrestling World Cup finals. I don’t think Adam Blampied will be happy that both won their matches, even more so in the manner of which Ligero won his.
This week though, as announced last week, we’ll see Ospreay get a chance to get some revenge as he takes on El Ligero. The build up to his title match against the Prestigious One at Refuse to Lose begins now.
So the World Cup has ended with a absolute bang in more ways then one. We’re back once more for Loaded.
