After two days of shows Pride finally set up camp in Plymouth for their big Heroes & Legends 5 show. So many of the names advertised for the show didn’t make it for various reasons but they managed to pull one of the best nights of wrestling out of the bag anyway.
I think I said in the UPW review that Taunton tends to be rather special. I met RVD, Scott Hall and Cody Rhodes there and now we are going to a new venue at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre to see Simon Grimm, formerly Simon Gotch of WWE’s Vaudevillains and as most of you know the only reason I watched and reviewed NXT back in the day and one of my absolute favourite wrestlers currently in the world.
Also in case you didn’t see the post about Photobucket there will no longer be photos in the reviews as you have to pay for third party hosting. I have instead uploaded a ton more photos into individual match albums on our Facebook page and will slowly upload all past events onto Facebook too so please like the Facebook page not only for updates but for all my millions and millions of photos.
Well we managed to get the RAW review done just before SmackDown. I feel like SmackDown will be back to business after a more party feel to the July 4th RAW.
Yeah we’ve missed a SmackDown but we have a very special RAW this week.
With an explosive RAW and the shocking news that Roman Reigns has been handed a 30 day suspension for breaking the Wellness Policy we’ll see how SmackDown goes.
So its about time that I got back to doing RAW and SmackDown and not just the PPVs. It might be a little late (unfortunately we’ve had personal family issues over the weekend and into this week) but at least it is done.
Dean Ambrose won the title at MitB and we get to see his first RAW as champ. My biggest question is when will Ambrose replace Cole with a fish tank like he promised all those months ago!?
Well I’ve been watching RAW and SmackDown as best as I can even if I haven’t had the time to write anything about it. I thought I’d write up some predictions and try and get the wrestling section back up and running.
For the first time in a long time I’m looking forward to sitting down to SmackDown. Kinda wish I’d stayed up for it!
The RAW after WrestleMania was pretty explosive. With a new number 1 contender it feels like we are in for exciting times.
The last time I wrote a review for NXT, other then Take Over London, was in August. I feel kinda bad about that but for some reasons, maybe because I saw spoilers for the shows after Take Over Brooklyn and didn’t like the result or something, but Take Over London gave me the boot I needed to start watching once more.
Sorry its late I was working the 24th and wasn’t allowed to watch wrestling on Christmas day!
