So our review is out and here we’ll take a look at our 5 best moments of Built to Destroy mainly because it was a super strong PPV so there isn’t anything really bad to say about it.
Not as late as I have been in recent times but DEFIANT Wrestling had Built to Destroy this weekend which was a absolutely packed show with some very interesting matches. Really looking forward to this after Road to Destruction was so good.
I might in the coming months start instead of reviewing RAW and SmackDown doing a 5 Things… Review instead. I thought I’d give it a try with this show even though its a different beast, the WWE ones might end up being less a 5 things as in 5 THINGS but 5 things spread across a few different things… We’ll come to that when it happens though.
So 5 Things about DEFIANT Wrestling’s Road to Destruction!
It feels weird having these Road to… mini PPVS. Like I’m not too sure how I like the non-weekly show format but if its what is best for them then that is what is best for them. It meant that I had 0 need to run out and watch this when it came online until I had a bunch of time to myself.
So I finally got to the end of Road to No Regrets so the obvious next step is to actually WATCH No Regrets.
WCPW turned a year old with one of their biggest and most packed show to date.
WCPW is being effected by the changes to YouTube’s policy. When they aired Fight Back I was at work and by the time I got home just after 11pm the show had been blocked from YouTube and they had received a strike for putting it online. They then loaded it to Facebook and Extra so we’re watching it on there instead.
After Joe Hendry managed to win the WCPW Heavyweight Championship when they headed back to Edinburgh he decided to christian the event HendryMania.
You can only guess what the Prestige, three quarters of which are Scottish, get up to now they have the championship in their ranks.
You might come on here and wonder why there are three WCPW reviews up in a row. Its because thanks to work, depression and just generally being a shitty person I’ve had the Scottish Qualifiers for the World Cup and nearly the entirety of State of Emergency in my drafts for over a month. I don’t know why I didn’t post the Scottish Qualifiers but State of Emergency I watched everything but the main event before work one day then never caught up with the main event!
No Regrets is late as well thanks to working and not getting online properly until today.
So you get three very late reviews all at the same time. You are welcome you very lucky people.
Commentary by Matt Striker and Jim Cornette for WCPW’s debut in the states. Taped during the WrestleMania weekend it saw a great line up.
