Again, because I want it clear I can not PICK 10 wrestlers without leaving out another 10 that I love, this is in no order. It literally is the first 10 names that came off the top of my head with one or two being changed because I realised that I had named 10 people I’d been watching recently and trying to pull some memories out of the bag from earlier in the year.
If I had to pick one person to be my wrestler of 2018 it would be David Starr mainly because I don’t think I’ve seen a bad match with him in and I just think he’s a massive plus to the UK scene no matter what others seemed to think but I would instantly be then going “umm but I also think Brookes had a stand out year and remember when Walter did this or how Davis is being kick ass in single competition in PROGRESS or everything that Havoc has done or how much I love Country Big Josh Knott (who didn’t make this list sadly)..” and I would be here forever.
So here are 10 I loved.
I am also perfectly aware they are all male too.

So on October 7th REACH Wrestling will be back for their second show at the School of Creative Arts (only roughly 50 tickets left so go get them) so lets have a look at what they have in store for those who are going…. And I might be if my bloody passport doesn’t sort itself out.

So if you don’t know when I’ve finally sorted my hours at work out, which hopefully is next week, we’re using our 5 Things… structure to review WWE once more but we also along with proper reviews will be doing it for British wrestling too.
I didn’t really look out for 5 things this time out so its what it is. Or something. Continue reading 5 Things… REACH Wrestling Episode 1
After months and months of hyping up their debut show it finally arrived. Brought to us by Jason King and Grayson Reeves at Plymouth School of Creative Arts are we finally getting the local show we all want?

So I’ve been threatening to attend a Big League Wrestling show since they first debuted and it never quite happened. Its sad that it never happened but it never did.
NOW thanks to the kindness of Rich and Karla I have finally made it to one of their shows!
Lets talk about ReLoad…

After two days of shows Pride finally set up camp in Plymouth for their big Heroes & Legends 5 show. So many of the names advertised for the show didn’t make it for various reasons but they managed to pull one of the best nights of wrestling out of the bag anyway.

I think I said in the UPW review that Taunton tends to be rather special. I met RVD, Scott Hall and Cody Rhodes there and now we are going to a new venue at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre to see Simon Grimm, formerly Simon Gotch of WWE’s Vaudevillains and as most of you know the only reason I watched and reviewed NXT back in the day and one of my absolute favourite wrestlers currently in the world.
Also in case you didn’t see the post about Photobucket there will no longer be photos in the reviews as you have to pay for third party hosting. I have instead uploaded a ton more photos into individual match albums on our Facebook page and will slowly upload all past events onto Facebook too so please like the Facebook page not only for updates but for all my millions and millions of photos.

We had a night in Falmouth the night before which was much fun but it was the big anniversary show in Exeter that I was truly looking forward to. With Impact superstars Bram, Rockstar Spud and Low-Ki all making appearances and all the top names for Pride appearing we were certainly in for a treat!

I wasn’t planning on going to this event but as it was a Saturday and you can get back to Plymouth from Falmouth on a Saturday we did venture down to see the show. A much smaller show for Pro Wrestling Pride but which boasted a re-match for the Pride title when Bram returned to take on Ultimo Tiger.
