I’m a sucker for Christmas time and am happy to share with you the places I’d love to and do in my head spend my Christmas.
What happens in a world that starts making Robots for just about everything? Well Futurama showed us the way with good old Robot Santa.
Board up your windows and stuff your chimneys if you want to survive Christmas time in New New York.
So I am a geek that loves Pokemon and with Pokemon Go and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee keeping me company this winter I thought we’d look at 5 Wintery Pokemon that at this time of the year I would love to be friends with.
Please feel free to tell me yours in the comments below!
So it is the day before Christmas and what have we got in store for you?
Two classic songs that you can’t go a Christmas without listening too.
First off is the wonderful White Christmas sung by Bing Crosby and then we have Merry Christmas Everyone by Slade.
Merry Christmas everyone!
WE ARE SO CLOSE NOW! And to celebrate lets have some classics shall we?
First off, because I wouldn’t want to listen to much more then this song every Christmas day is Wizzard with “I Wish it could be Christmas Everyday” and then The Pogues with “Fairytale of New York”. Two classic songs that you’ve probably heard about twenty million times already this year. Listen at least the once more.
I think I possibly covered this in the Morecambe and Wise article but I thought I’d moan some more. I haven’t exactly been the most cheerful blogger this Christmas so it kind of goes with my theme.
Does anyone else think Christmas TV just sucks?!
I mean OK for people with families and that TV isn’t important but in some respects as I spend Christmas on my own it is just another day. And because we are lead to believe (at least here in the UK) that it is big event TV I guess I get disappointed with the same old same old.
The BBC especially.
The only thing in recent years I’ve looked forward to from them has been films and Doctor Who. I’m not interested in either the film or Doctor Who episode this year so TV land is looking uninviting completely. It seems to just have its juggernaut shows blasting out meaningless specials. But they are either so miserable and boring or else just same old same old with a Christmas hat and tree.
Then again I’m not even sure what it is I want from Christmas day, when I spent it with my family I never really bothered with the TV but for some reason I still THINK of things I did watch and think they are better then what I have now that my only company is probably going to be my TV.
There seems to be a big Family Friendly CHRISTMASY slot missing that has been filled up with either drama, adult comedies or a movie we all probably own on DVD and have seen to the death anyway.
I feel like we’re missing out.
But are we?
I don’t know.
I think I’ll stick to my DVDs.
We are down to our top Christmas tunes now! These are our favourites, not that they’ve been in any order up until this point but we feel we’ve saved the best for last.
Today we give you “Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “A Spaceman Come Traveling
