Not much is going to top the Internet Championship match last week but with Austin Aries vs Gabriel Kidd this week it is going to be interesting to see what happens.
DEFIANT Wrestling is officially being controlled by IPW now. This week kind of feels a bit odd though because we got the announcements for the matches like usual at the end of the episode last week so it doesn’t really feel like this week WILL be under IPW control which… Seeing its only till the PPV in like 3 weeks time is kind of weird.
Oh well we get Bailey vs ZSJ. What more could you ask for?
(Other then Liam Slater vs Damien Dunne. Now that I might beg for.)
We have the DEFIANT Wrestling vs IPW story in full swing, we have a crazy preacher converting people to his side and we have Alex Gracie monologue-ing at himself on a nearly weekly basis. DEFIANT Wrestling has very much made their show a much watch every single week.
With a dodgy ending to Defiant #4 and a title match this week will we see fair play coming from the refs or is this war going to turn dirty?
So we’re kind of up to date (yay) we would have been faster if it hadn’t been for me getting ill (boo) and honestly I literally couldn’t move for the whole of last Friday. I managed to get Defiant #4 up just in time to see Slater vs Kidd then fell asleep.
I also think I’m working this week so there might be a few days to wait for #5 review to be published.
Oh well. Defiant #4.
The IPW invasion is still brewing slowly under the surface, Prince Ameen is still thankfully gone and Zack Gibson might get his teeth handed to him by Stu Bennett if he wins his match in this episode and gets his Defiant Wrestling contract.
Its all going on in DEFIANT Wrestling.
So week one saw the whole landscape change at the top of the Defiant food chain. We have a new champion who isn’t even signed to the company. New faces have come to rescue some old faces and hopefully Prince Ameen has been taken away never to be seen again.
