It is a bit late again but I’ve finally got the 5 Things… For Unstoppable sorted, we’ll have Loaded #10 out at 7 like we’re MEANT to and hopefully be up to date with Loaded tonight.
So many big stories were built in the run up to Unstoppable. Four of the championships are on the line, some big grudge matches, lots of tension and a few changes unfortunately due to injuries at the last minute.
Can not wait for Unstoppable.
We are so close to being up to date. Here we are kind of on day 4 of our catch up with a show that had Nathan Cruz wrestling on it which makes it one of the best shows so far because I like watching Nathan Cruz wrestle.
So day 2 of our catch up to the Loaded shows and after a explosive first episode we’re back with a new GM, a HUGE women’s match to main event and a really packed card.
So again because I’m watching this so far away from when it happened there were a load of matches I was sure was meant to happen that didn’t but what we got was…
I mean Fight or Flight hyped it to be the biggest thing since sliced bread but we’ll see if that was the case.
So on we go to Stacked 2018. It promises to be a brilliant show what with Walter vs Ospreay, Kirby vs Hendry and all our new favourites.
I am so pumped which is great because it has my love of wrestling back.
Again, because I want it clear I can not PICK 10 wrestlers without leaving out another 10 that I love, this is in no order. It literally is the first 10 names that came off the top of my head with one or two being changed because I realised that I had named 10 people I’d been watching recently and trying to pull some memories out of the bag from earlier in the year.
If I had to pick one person to be my wrestler of 2018 it would be David Starr mainly because I don’t think I’ve seen a bad match with him in and I just think he’s a massive plus to the UK scene no matter what others seemed to think but I would instantly be then going “umm but I also think Brookes had a stand out year and remember when Walter did this or how Davis is being kick ass in single competition in PROGRESS or everything that Havoc has done or how much I love Country Big Josh Knott (who didn’t make this list sadly)..” and I would be here forever.
So here are 10 I loved.
I am also perfectly aware they are all male too.
So I went to my second CPW show of the year, I said in the 5 Things… blog that they kind of made it so I don’t want to miss a single one of their show and this one really was a must see show.
Unfortunately I had the beginnings of a cold on Saturday and since then have just got slowly worse so the review took longer and to be pretty honest is pretty all over the place. So I apologise for that.
I don’t care if people don’t like these but I am loving doing them for wrestling so here are a 5 Things for the CPW show in Bodmin featuring Jimmy Havoc, CCK and Mark Haskins.
Not as late as I have been in recent times but DEFIANT Wrestling had Built to Destroy this weekend which was a absolutely packed show with some very interesting matches. Really looking forward to this after Road to Destruction was so good.
