I know it is late, and the third episode is also late. I was waiting for Anna’s screencaps but she’s been having a tough time recently and life just got to both of us.
So it feels like a perfect time to tell you how I felt about the second episode of the Village!
As Amanda said last night it won’t just be one review for the Doctor Who episodes, therefore I feel like mine needs a new and amazing name that isn’t just Doctor Who…. So if any of you have any ideas on what I can call my alternate review blog please leave it in the comments!
The debut of Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor seems to have been coming since forever. He was announced over a year ago and first appeared in a flashy eye cameo in the 50th anniversary.
Matt Smith’s 11th Doctor was a big favourite for everyone on the forum so 12 had some big boots to fill!
Last weeks episode was so much stronger then in recent weeks, we’ve done away with painstakingly dissecting the Musketeer’s history and focused for a episode on the King with a dastardly plot to dethrone him by his own mother.
And this week’s episode built on that by coming straight back on form.
