After the amazing X-Men First Class when they announced a second film with the First Class cast I was very extremely happy. When we found out that the original cast was joining the cast of First Class I was somewhat worried.
Did the film work or did it turn into another Wolverine movie?

It is one of those movies that I’ve been meaning to watch for what seems like forever. I’m a big fan of Downey Jr and this film has always been highly recommended viewing, but it hasn’t been until now that I’ve found time to watch it.

Last night I went to see a film that it won’t surprise people I went to see. I love the time period it is set in (WWII) as well as half the cast (I literally grew up with Bill Murray and John Goodman films and lets not get into Matt Damon!) I saw two distinctive trailers for the film, one that set it up very much as a comedy film and one that gave it a bit of an edge, so going into the film I wasn’t too sure what I was going to expect to see.

I sat down to watch The Hunt, a Danish film starring Mads Mikkelsen. A thought provoking look at a modern day Witch Hunt.
The film deals with a teacher that is falsely accused of abusing children. It focuses on how the adults come to the conclusion and what happens to the teacher throughout the ordeal.

So today I went to see the last showing of Hunger Games in my local cinema. I’ve been hoping to get a chance to go see it since it was released so happy that I got to see it before it went out of the cinema.
Catching Fire is the second instalment in the Hunger Games trilogy, which is set for four films with the third book being split into Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2. The first film (simply The Hunger Games) was one of my favourite films, I don’t think I’ve seen many films that I’ve loved from beginning to end every time I see it more and more. It made me pick up the books and fall in love with the whole series even more.
But did the second film do it for me?
