You want emotional? You want tears? Well 816 will give you both.
I completely missed it coming out last week and when I realised that it was out I was too tired to read it so today I finally got myself motivated and moved my butt.
Well the three sleeping beauties wake up and realise the mistake they made on falling asleep and the others are smart enough to figure out what is happening and go look for Kinemon instead of rushing off with the Minks.
Just when you think everything is going to end in tears…
But not in the way you are thinking.
It turns out all this pain and suffering was in aide to save Raizou. Turns out the people of Zou and the people of Wano are like family and the Minks would rather have died then give up Raizou.
The thing I loved about the whole chapter was that it built up so much drama just to have such a twist at the end that you couldn’t help but laugh out loud. I mean sure Inuarashi and Nekomamushi might still come to blows sooner then later as they do seem to squabble a lot but the rest of it, the fear of something happening to the Samurai’s and maybe the Straw Hats for being friends with them has completely evaporated.
The only problem is that once more there is a lot more to this story that I want to know. We’ve been back and forward on what happened to Zou and the Minks and suddenly when you think you know what happens they change it all again. Not to a big degree but even looking back on what we know there needs to be something else added on top of what we’ve seen. Sometimes I feel like we’ll never get to the end of all this.
Either way it seems that Sanji has been pushed to the back of their minds once more and we’re back to the problems on Zou.
Why do they do this to me?
